Top Tools Apps Performance in France Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several tools apps made significant strides in France, reflecting diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Opinion Rewards showed a remarkable surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting with around 5.9K downloads at the beginning of October, the app experienced a dramatic increase, peaking at approximately 318K downloads in the week of December 23. Weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, growing from 391K in late September to about 558K by the end of December.

All Document Tools maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering around the 45K to 76K range. The app saw a significant rise in active users, beginning with 35K in early October and reaching approximately 193K by the year's end.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile experienced consistent download growth, notably spiking in the week of December 23 with 162K downloads. Active users increased from 259K to about 573K over the quarter, reflecting strong user engagement.

L'Identité Numérique La Poste started the quarter with about 83K downloads and maintained a stable trajectory, peaking at 95K in mid-December. Active users fluctuated, yet ended strongly, rising from 1.3M in late September to roughly 1.4M by the end of December.

France Identité showed consistent download activity, starting at 107K and maintaining around 77K in the final week of December. Active users also demonstrated a steady pattern, increasing from 313K to about 356K over the quarter.
